        Wagering On Wendy is the perfect blend of romance, suspense and an intriguing story line/plot. The characters with their fears, flaws and dreams are believable and interesting. The reader is invited to care for them and root for their relationship to succeed. 

        Wendy Williams is a divorce attorney. She was raised by a single mother and never knew her father. Wendy is not very trusting of men and feels that they will let her down. She is a feisty, independent women. Wendy has and always will stick up for her friends and women that are being treated unfairly. 

        Asher Doyle is an attorney. Hudson Fleming is an architect. Asher and Hudson have been friends for years. They have been hurt in the past and don't want to get serious with anyone. Asher and Hudson like to share women. The rumors about the men are fairly well known. Asher and Hudson are wealthy and attractive men. They have women practically throwing themselves at the men. Asher and Hudson are alpha males, who know what they want and will get it.

         When Asher and Hudson meet Wendy, she is going toe to toe with a 200 & something pound man. Wendy was defending another lady at the bar, because the man would not take no for an answer. Asher and Hudson came to Wendy's rescue, even if she may not have thought she needed it. The men knew Wendy was different than any other woman that they had ever met. There is instant and intense chemistry between the characters.

           The three are surprised to see each other at reading for the will for Wendy's father. They eventually start to work together.  Dinner, drinks and scorching sex scenes soon follow. There are up and downs as Asher, Hudson & Wendy learn able each other, themselves and what they really want. Asher and Hudson become very protective and possessive of Wendy. Secrets are revealed by all. Can their growing relationship survive? 

           I love the chemistry that the characters have. I appreciate that the author gave all the characters flaws and fears that they had to work on in order for the relationship to develop. I adore when the female character is strong, independent and can take care of herself. I am also a sucker for a great menage romance. This story had many twist and turns with in the plot that I honestly didn't expect or see coming. It is also nice to have characters from the other books in the story as well. I laughed and cried while reading this story. I volunteered to read this arc book.
