There was tears of sadness, tears of joy, laughter, anger, frustration and heartbreak. Heartbreaker has unique & well developed characters and an interesting storyline / plot. Readers will fall in love with Booker and Catherine.
Heartbreaker is the story of Booker and Catherine. Catherine 'Cat' is a small town, single mom. She is a feisty and independent woman. Cat puts her son and her business before herself. She puts all her energy and time into growing her new business and raising her son. Cat tries to be both mom and dad. She is struggling to make her business a success. Cat worries about being & doing the best for her child.
Booker is in town to sell his house. He lives in Los Angeles. Booker is cocky and arrogant. He is paid to be a jerk and break women's hearts. Booker has a side that most people don't see. He is a bad boy on the outside with a sensitive heart. Booker has secrets and fears that he tries to keep hidden.
I love a wounded bad boy turned hero. This bad boy has a heart of gold in my book. Booker and Cat are perfect or made for each other. They are both scared / frightened to put themselves out there. Cat and Booker are afraid to get hurt or trust. I loved the chemistry between Cat and Booker. I devoured Heartbreaker, and I recommend to others.
