I Hired A Hitman is another outstanding romance with lots of suspense from Alexis Abbott. Alexis' writing style is one of which the reader is completely engrossed in the story, her characters are relatable / believable & it is contains loads of actions & romance. Alexis' mafia bad boys always have a sensitive and endearing side.
Alexei is a retired hitman. He is trying to live a quiet life on a farm in the Midwest. After spotting the frightened farm girl at the feed store, Alexei knows that Daisy needs his help. She brings out his protective side.
Daisy is struggling to just get by since her father has died. She is a hard working and lonely young woman. Daisy is being harassed by one of the good old boys, Dean. He doesn't take No for an answer, when it comes to going out with him. Daisy still has some fight left in her, and she won't let Dean win.
Daisy is attracted to Alexei. The innocent Daisy is drawn to Alexei. Alexei feels like Daisy is giving something to live for. Daisy and Alexei have intense chemistry. There are some very hot and sexy scenes. Wink. Will Dean keep these two apart? Or will Alexei's past come between him and Daisy? Can they have a happily ever after?
