Synopsis

Friends to Lovers Romance 4 1/2 Stars
Nailed Down is sexy and charming friends to lovers romance. This is the first book in the Nailed Down Series. It centers around Kit and Kane, who are best friends and co-workers. They work on renovating homes on a local TV show / reality show. Kit and Kane are sometimes recognized while away from the set. 
Kit recently loses her cousin. While struggling with the loss, Kit is given a letter that was from her cousin. The letter is a list / bucket list for Kit to complete. Her cousin Jess told Kit that it was time to live and that life was a journey. Kit knew that she needed help to complete the items on the list, so she went to Kane to ask for help. Kit told him that she needed him. Yum. 
Kane and Kit both have feels for the other, but have not admitted it to the other person. Kane is a tough on the outside, but sweet and kind on the inside type of guy. He is willing to help Kit with the list, but Kane wants to stay away from some items on there. At the same time, Kane doesn't want anyone else to help Kit with the list. He is very protective of Kit. 
The chemistry and sexual tension between Kane and Kit is scorching hot, but also sweet at times. I love the banter between these two. Some of my favorite lines were: "Read it. Stop being a punk." "Step up, drama queen." There were many times that I laughed out loud over Kit and Kane's bantering back and forth. I adored when Kit and Kane danced and kissed. Kane was protective and sexy, sweet all in one. Kit and Kane were each other's best friend, supporter, motivator and lover. They pushed and encouraged the other. I think that is a very powerful and wonderful idea/theme in any book. Nailed Down is a wonderfully written romance with appealing characters, an unique storyline and a friends to lovers romance that everyone will fall in love with.
